This Privacy Policy describes how Kanz al-Duaa (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application Kanz al-Duaa (Android package: com.kunzduaa.app; iOS bundle: com.kunzduaa.app).

By using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide
  • Account information: email address and password when you register, or account details from Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple (such as name and email, as permitted by those services).
  • Support requests: information you send when contacting us.
1.2 Information collected automatically
  • Device and app data: device type, operating system, app version, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Device binding identifier: a hashed device identifier used to link your account to one device for security and license protection. We do not use this for advertising.
  • Usage and preferences: in-app activity such as favorites, reading progress, language and theme settings, and subscription status.
  • Purchase data: records of in-app purchases and subscriptions (product ID, purchase date, entitlement status). Payment card numbers are processed by Google Play, Apple App Store, or Stripe—not stored by us.
1.3 Information we do not collect
  • We do not require access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or precise location for core app features.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

2. How we use your information

  • Create and manage your account and authenticate you.
  • Provide free and premium Islamic supplication content.
  • Process subscriptions and restore purchases.
  • Enforce single-device account binding and prevent unauthorized sharing of paid access.
  • Improve app stability, security, and user experience.
  • Respond to support requests and legal obligations.

3. Third-party services

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, App Installations) — Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Sign-In — subject to Google’s terms and privacy policy.
  • Sign in with Apple — subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
  • Google Play / Apple App Store — payment and subscription processing.
  • Stripe (where applicable for web or card payments) — Stripe Privacy Policy

These providers may process data in countries other than your own, with appropriate safeguards where required by law.

4. Data storage and security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and Firebase security rules. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data retention

We retain account and purchase data while your account is active and as needed to comply with legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children’s privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent.

8. International users

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws, we process your data based on contract performance, legitimate interests (security and fraud prevention), and legal obligations. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
